Such a need! Such a sacrifice to meet the need! Jesus Christ by an act of the will set aside His absolute right, privilege, and just requirement to destroy sin and everything tainted by it. (Though He still will one day—2Pe 3:10-11 http://blb.sc/2iwn.) In the very middle of dying, He with urgency and assurance asked God the Father to forgive His murderers (Luke 23:34 http://blb.sc/2adE).
We are free indeed, free to be loved. (Rom 8:2 http://blb.sc/2eY1). For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Have we however put ourselves back into bondage by failing to forgive?

Ever since Barack Obama’s election, the mainstream media and liberal commentators have been gleefully proclaiming the death of the Republican Party and predicting it could be revived only with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation from “moderates” and RINOs (Republicans In Name Only). The November 3 elections proved that those obituaries, in the famous words of Mark Twain, were “greatly exaggerated.” . . . → Read More: Good News about the 2009 Election

As people everywhere experience the ups and downs of the economy, the subject of our giving to God may seem badly timed. But not really. Consider the words of Haggai the prophet: Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; consider your ways. Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages, earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.” Haggai 1:5-6 . . . → Read More: A Study on Stewardship
